Hello DPJ. I prefer fantasy. I'm leaning towards Tamiya TS20 metallic green with a yellow stripe. No Gulf or Lucky Strike liveries for me thank you.

Interesting green color. I thought you use an airbrush... I was going to suggest StreetBlisters paints, they're great!

I'm going to make this car the Gulf #22 car that did not finish. It's one of those liveries that you never see...

Yes, I'm a Tamiya rattle can painter.

How about this for a fantasy livery?

A quick google tells me that Mountain Dew logo is from 1999-2005, what car from that era would you choose Ken?

Hi Kevan,

I'm not yet set on what era logo to use. There are many to choose from.

If you're going by era wouldn't it be best to choose the car first then match the correct era logo to the car?

Kevan,

You're not going to succeed in getting all the rivet counters upset if you follow the rules for liveries.

I do what I like. I may just paint it green in the end. Install a few small sponsor decals, and forget about a main livery.

I laughed out loud when Wankel got mad at the suggestion of a Mountain Dew livery. Too funny.

TBPH, I'm not really bothered about scale livery accuracy myself, our Slot cars are already fantasy anyway, but will comply when rules specify livery for competition purposes (proxies etc).

At the end of the day this is our hobby to do how we like  Thumbup

...you could put a different era logo on each side/top/front/rear

I'm not sure I would put four different logos on one car. That's a bit nuts even for me.

Years ago I told everyone that I was making a classic stock car for a soda company. Everyone expected to see Coke or Pepsi. This is what I showed up with.  Thumbup
