One of my latest purchases - again really cheap

C64 alfa that was missing parts and in a mess really

       
   

Started off with an olive oil clean to clear the fungus that appears on old cars caused by the mold release agent they used back in the day/

   

I did source rear mudguards but they are the C306 colour and I need to try and get darker c64 replacements.....

This was a fun “silk purse out of a sow’s ear” project. It runs great, too. Might even get a motor upgrade from the 18K Predator.
…and I’ve ditched the Lotus decal.

All the body trim bits were missing so everything but the shell was scavenged from the workshop.

The underside of the Lotus XIX. 1960’s era brass pans with front axle mounted on thin steel wire extensions to allow a little flex.
