How are you fixing the front motor in place on the chassis? Any success will depend on that front motor being rigidly held in place so that the gears don't jamb.

No harm in trying. Does the body still fit?

Enjoy the project but don't expect it to be competitive with 'normal' 4WD Slot Rally cars

thanx for replies. the body does fit yes. why wont it be as good as normal 4WD cars? ## I have decided to discontinue this project because ive thought of a new build! Still same RS200 but using an Rseries chassis with inline motor & custom driveshafts to be 4x4. Will post photos when completed. Also my hope is for an anglewinder shaft drive 4x4 version, but 1 step @ a time. Thanx again & i love the forum

The weight of two motors probably won't work in your favour.

ok it would also need a power pack for itself to power both motors. So now a new plan anyway, thanx mate.

Hi all just asking your advise. What are the best S can dual shaft 20000rpm motors out there. Any advice is great as i need to order some parts & a motor is on my list. I know SCX do several motors for thier 4WD rally cars but i have no experience with other brands. I would be using it in a rally car mostly on a more technical track rather than a larger high speed track. Thanks in advance.

I don't think there's an S-can with a double shaft long enough to drive both axles unless it's a SWB car. SCX 4WD motors have a very long shaft for the front axle.
Avant do a FK180 with a very long shaft for 4WD, it's called a Hunter motor.
