Would you recommend purchasing track planning software or just wing it?

Running multiple ghost cars with Scalextric can be challenging but achievable with the right setup and patience. It requires careful adjustment of the controllers to maintain consistent speeds for each car and strategic positioning to avoid collisions. Additionally, managing power distribution and track layout complexity is crucial to prevent interference between the ghost cars. While it may initially require some trial and error, with practice and attention to detail, enthusiasts can successfully run multiple ghost cars for exciting and competitive races on their Scalextric tracks.

Wing it every time.
Roughly lay your track pieces out without connecting them up then move them about to get a layout you like the look of...then connect them up.
