So - all decided with the rural scene, have test painted the track and that seems really fine.
Going all in, I just ordered some moulds for some old stones and roof tiles.
Just need abit of help with measurements- what to do some old houses in relief, both 1 and story.
The stones are in 1/35, so think that is just fine ?
Anyone with some inputs?

Hello,
I (and many others) have used the Miniart 1:35 buildings and find them perfectly acceptable.
Will take some photos with cars and spectators and post them here.

You'll want somewhere between 7cm and 9 cm per storey, depending on the type of building.
7cm equates to 224cm, which you might find in older rural cottages. 8cm equates to 256cm which would be fairly standard. 9cm equates to 288cm which you might find at the manor house or chataeu.

@jasonB - thanks, was what I’m looking for.
What for a 2 storey house?
And the width of doors and windows?

A two storey house? Well, twice as tall.
Maybe a little less, as upstairs ceilings are sometimes a little lower.
Doors and windows come in a variety of sizes. Just measure up your own and divide by 32. A standard modern door is about 200cm x85cm, so in 1/32 thaat would would be 6.2cm x2.7cm.
