Whats on your bench ...

Kevan, as you know the Carrera body is heavy so anything to trim the weight within the rules of the series will be needed.
Like many, I first hated the vertical grills, but now I have come to like the aggressive look. Will be doing the Turner Motorsports Liqui Moly IMSA livery from mtr32 decals.

My Carrera Audi RS5 had the obvious extra bits removed but as for 'lightening' i.e. thinning the bodywork, I've never had the inclination to spend time doing that for what ends up being not much gain in track time...

Life is like a box of Slot cars... Cool Drinkingcheers

...my FDD4 Hummer having it's motor run in.

It's already drawing 0.3 less amps, and how can you not love these lights?!

Updating a Revell-Monogram Daytona Cobra with a 3DP Olifer chassis. Looks like I’ll be able to use most of the interior.

Mickey - do you add flexibility/floppy type chassis set up when you change the chassis? What is your reasoning to change. I sometimes dont understand why chassis are changed if they sit tightly on the body. Just trying to understand Cool

Most of my 1960’s sports and GT cars are white body kits with scratchbuilt brass chassis. I like to have similar setups so they can be raced against each other. The older front wheel drive cars are just terrible on my wood track. I have just begun playing around with the 3DP chassis.

Here are two examples, the silver MRRC/Monogram and red 3DP TA71 car.

I finally got around to installing the interior and driver. Now I have to install the front and rear lights.

Love the lights! Do you have pics of how they're wired? What AWG did you use, etc...?
