Hello all,
Has anyone tried one of the Jadlam Lucky Dip purchases and can feedback on their experience?
The "not working, not damaged" category at 20.99 pounds is tempting.

Not personally, but I’ve seen some very happy recipients on Facebook. If you want an easy-ish challenge to get essentially a randomly-chosen nearly new (or sometimes unused) car for £21, it seems a lot of fun. “Not working” could mean a wire come loose or a dead motor.

Jadlam.........used to buy from them on ebay until an order never arrived. I queried it through them and they blocked me from buying anymore

I too have occasionally dealt with them via ebay, and have had mostly OK outcomes, but the couple of issues I had they were unresponsive and resulted in having to claim compensation via paypal.
As regards these, a bargain no doubt, but the randomness of the car and past experience will be enough to counter temptation on my part.

Jadlam used to sponsor a race series at out Club and whenever they turned up they always brought a box full of cars that either had bits missing (spoilers, mirrors etc), or were not working, so we bought lots of cars off them. These were mostly cars that had been returned by customers, and had very little wrong with them...Lets face it there is nothing on a Scalex car that can't be fixed!, we did howerever pay a lot less for them than they seem to be asking now...We always found them a good organisation to deal with.
Regards
Alan

I was able to buy the Scalextric Club Car Wynn’s Mercedes from Jadlam at a ridiculously low price. Another racer from the US grabbed two of them after I did.
No issues for either one of us.

I'd not seen that before, definitely worth consideration.

I bought one too, technically it is a set car with digital chip removed, but identical to the club car so happy with the price .

I let curiosity get the better of me and I actually purchased one of these recently...
Is it worth it? I think so, some you'll win, some, you may get something you don't really want. But it's all good fun!
