Great thread Leo Thumbup

We've seen quite a few women drivers at WHO - including A-Final and team race winners - but also liveries of cars that women have raced in real life.  In our recent proxy racing, there was Mazda's fabulous Pat Moss-Carlsson Alpine and Rebecca's Shirley Muldowney Ford Mustang Funny Car...

At the Barn, Shawna Robinson's #84 2001 Ford Taurus has appeared in our HO Nascar class and as part of our Scalextric digital club car fleet - both created by Mike D...

Danica Patrick is a great favourite at the club - featuring on our 'Welcome Race Fans' banner...

And her cars have appeared in all three WHO classes over the years thanks to Mike, Keith and Debra's artistic talents...

One of our WHO/digital club cars also pays tribute to Danica...

There's also been Flick Haigh and Jonny Adam's Aston Martin racing in our WHO/digital GT class - and I reckon Jade Edward's Honda will feature in our BTCC format when it's released.

I like the idea of this topic Thumbup

A few years ago, I built Marianne Hoepfner's Alpine A364 from PSK :

The same year, I also painted the following NSR Fiat 500 for the 13th birthday of my daughter :

I've found four other Michele Mouton/ Fabrizia Pons slotcars:

SCX Fiat Mirafiori Abarth, Rallye Monte Carlo 1980 7th overall.                                   Team Slot Audi Quattro A1 winner Acropolis Rally 1982.

Fly Audi Quattro A1 Ivory Coast 1982 accident, losing the WRC-title that year.     Scalextric Audi Quattro E2 Ulster Rally 1985, turbo failure.

My fault, slip of the pen: Not Fabrizia Pons but Annie Arrii was Michele's navigator during the Rallye Monte Carlo 1980.

Hub

Michele Mouton/ Annie Arrii finished seventh overall in the Rallye Monte Carlo 1980.

Cheers Hub,
There is no reason to limit this to the actual day, in fact probably best to keep it going.  Though hopefully we can avoid it degenerating to the level of some distantly related FaceBook pages.

Not just 4 wheels...some women have balls enough to take on a Sidecar TT...

Passenger, Hayley Jayne Capewell leaping about the back of the outfit between the stone walls and houses...

...and the driver is Phil Biggadyke...honest, not a made up name...goes with the territory I suppose

Life is like a box of Slot cars... Cool Drinkingcheers
