Bayview International

Although it's come about through unfortunate circumstances, I might have a chance to build a permanent slot track.

There is nothing certain about this, and even if it does happen, it will be a while before I can start. But that doesn't stop me from having some fun thinking about the possibilities, and planning what I might be able to do.

So here's my current plan....

The layout will have a large, two lane, analogue rally/race track based on Olivers Mount, a four lane Autograss track based on Humanby Raceway, a single lane rally track, or delivery route, and a railway line.

I may be getting a little over ambitious, but at this stage that's allowed.

I've started a modest little diary which I hope to keep up, if and when this progresses. For now it's just planning and research, so we'll have to see how things go.

Awesome Heart

I don't know what to be most excited about... but the Autograss track and the Gauge 1 railway are really very unusual.

A perfect piece of nostalgia to indulge your interests and skills - and to remember your parents by.

Now that's what I call an ambitious project! Bearing in mind that my simple track has taken 15 years to build and I didn't have to completely renovate the building first I am in awe at your plans Jason. Will follow your progress with great interest.

Thank you gentlemen.

Ambitious projects are easy at the planning stage, so we'll just have to wait and see how it turns out.
