Slot Car Addicts of North Carolina (SCANC)

Slot Car Addicts of North Carolina (SCANC) has a loose "membership" of eight guys. We have 7 routed mdf tracks in close proximity. Two of those tracks can accommodate both 1/32 and 1/24 scale cars. Five of them are right here in Winston-Salem only minutes apart. The other two are less than an hour's drive from here. There are no dues and we welcome all racers so if you're in the area send one of us a PM.

2) WOODLAND TRACE RACEWAY (aka Laguna Trace) ~ Steve Acesta's 80' four-lane routed mdf with 3.5" lane spacing, Winston-Salem, NC

3) BENT TREE RACEWAY ~ Rob Fowler's newest track, 90' four-lane CNC-routed mdf with 4" lane spacing, Winston-Salem, NC.

4) OLD FART INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY (OFI) ~ Rob Fowler's OFI, a 65' four-lane routed mdf with 3.5" lane spacing, Winston-Salem, NC. This one is co-located in the same commercial space that houses SlotZuka.

5) BUENA VISTA MOTORSPORTS PARK ~ Marcus Seitz' 55' four-lane routed mdf with 3.5" lane spacing, Winston-Salem, NC

David, I drew up these rough plans in Adobe Illustrator, then made several minor changes as I put the router to the mdf.

Thanks Anthony. We are fortunate that we have a small group of guys that get along well together and that we have almost as many tracks as we have guys in the group. Three of the tracks belong to ModernSlots. He has one (Bent Tree) at his home and two others (SlotZuka and OFI) in a commercial space that he has a long-term lease on. We race at SlotZuka more often than the others, mostly because it's location is in a commercial space that provides easy access to everyone, but also because it is a fast but challenging drive.
