The road to the slot track is paved with good intentions........ but no! I just don't see the point in having cars that work sitting there to be looked at. Why have motors in them? Plenty of plastic kits and Buragos out there for that.
It's like having cars like Bugattis and Ferraris stuck under plastic wrap rather than doing what they were designed for.

In order to speed up the production of popsicle stick chassis I've made a jig so I can ensure the holes line up ,so I should be able to get the construction time down to about an hour from table to track if I try hard

I built a couple of popsicle chassis last night using the afore mentioned jig .Bench to track about an hour and a half. Both were tested using the same rear tyres and gave near identical lap times to with in a tenth of a second .Now to decide on bodies .

I've had this in my photo library for ages. I always intended to make one but, strangely for a woodworker, have always used brass as it's what I am used to.
