I've already missed two races this week due to the flu. It's good these things don't last long.
Campbellville Raceway was open for business. It was a last minute thing. 5-friends showed up making it 6 racers including the host.
Up first were the Scale Auto cars. Big and heavy would be my description. Lots of power if you like to fishtail. Box stock with glued and trued urethane tires.
My first race and the rear wing, umm... flew off. Isn't that what wings do? I'm not the only one that lost a wing.
Up next were the BRM Group-2 cars. Box stock with glued and trued urethane tires. Very stable.
Then came one of my favourites. Boulevard Cruisers. All scratch built slot cars from static kits. Everyone must use a Fox-10 motor, and Dart wheels/tires. Everything else is open.
Our host graciously offered up three IROC cars to be tortur... I mean raced. Each car stays in it's lane. The cars are custom made Formula LeMans prototypes. Very close racing. These cars are almost dead even.
Thank you very kindly for looking.
