RaceCoordinator query


Last night we had some sort of fault where one car was calculated as having travelled more than the existing race record (Distance travelled in 2 minute heat) This was triple what it should have been - Showed 61 plus laps when it should have been only 20 plus laps)

I tried using Edit/laps to alter it, but I couldn't get the figure set correctly. Tried taking -4000 sections off, but it didn't work as expected.

The Wrong Race Record Score still shows on that race screen.

In the end I went for the nuclear option and deleted all the results from last night by deleting from the Stats, however that didn't work, I still have the wrong Record showing on the race screen.

Is there any way I can delete this record or will I have to delete the class from the race set up and substitute an 'new' class and start again with the records?

I don't know how to edit records but it might be easier to save the class as a new name so all the settings are the same, delete the old class and rename the new one back to the same name as the old one.

We have a few erroneous records, it's just easier to do the above ^ and only takes a few seconds.

Hi Gerry, 

You can edit the race stats via the menu system, goto: 
- Option menu, 
- select Stats, 
- from the next screen, on the right hand side select the race you need to edit, 
- once race has been selected look back to the left of the screen down the bottom you will see Export, Edit and Delete Stats, 
- look down a little you will see Lane Bests and select the lane you need to add or remove laps from, in this case I will use Yellow and remove Nathan's lap record, to do this you simply click up or down arrow on the Number of Rejected Laps, this will change instantly so continue adding or removing laps until the required lap record is located, this will automatically move the appropriate racer into or out of the lap / lane record system.
