Hi. As a newbie setting up a system for my grandchildren! ONE car doesn't sit as low in the slot as the other and therefore it loses grip and wants to leave the track compared with the other one. HOW do I fix IT? Applied gentle pressure but it stays proud. Braids look the same as other car (almost new) HELP?

Hi Jake.
If you feel the braid is holding the nose up? Use small, flat, needle nose pliers to gently flatten the braid out a little, and lay it down closer to the guide with your finger. Push on the section where the braid curves as it comes out of the guide. It should improve.
Be careful. Needle nose pliers with aggressive teeth may only make things worse.
Aftermarket competition braid is a bit thinner to avoid lifting the guide off the track with light cars. You have that as an option. It means changing the braids on both cars.
I hope you have fun with your grandchildren!
Warm regards,
Ken

Which two cars do you have in the set? Different models often have different characteristics (as they do in real life), but if they are the same model they should be similar.
Could you post a picture of the underside of the car? I wonder if the braid plate has shifted forward slightly...

Thanks for your reply. They needed to replace some of the original track they sent me, so they replaced the car as well. Will certainly remember it for the future.
