The final Boogity - DW retires.

NASCAR legend Darrell Waltrip retired from the Fox Sports commentators' booth on Sunday at Sonoma Raceway. The 72 year old, three time champion with 84 cup series wins to his name joined the team in 2001 and became the voice of NASCAR just as Murray Walker did in F1.

Like Murray with his 'one light, two lights.......' race start DW coined his own unique catchphrase. As the cars take the green flag to start each race, Waltrip shouts "Boogity, boogity, boogity, let's go racing boys! He explained that the nonsense catchphrase arose because, as a driver, he grew tired of hearing his spotter or crew chief say "green, green, green" at the start of every race and wanted to hear something more original.

Sunday evenings just won't be the same without him so here we go one last time:
