The system was initially created by a German using the name Sturmkind. He has a system called drift, you can find his website easily, just Google for his name. It is quite popular in Germany.
Carrera participated from the start and at a certain moment took it over completely, the latest improvements are made by them.

Thanks Henk - so the Carrera product draws in the technology from the Sturmkind Drift product. Presumably the track position sensing is new in the Carrera system?
Anyway, it’s great to see some of the history of how, and from where, Carrera Hybrid evolved - thanks.

TDK InvenSense ICM-42670-P which has package marking I460P.
