Hi guys,
Looking for advice for prepping a mk2 SCX escort for a potential proxy rally entry. The current tyres are not the best, has anyone got any tips for tyres (prepping the current ones or rubber replacement) plus any other tuning tips would be greatly received.
Cheers

I fit a pair of Pendle Mini tyres on mine, it still has the original wheels for our Standard SCX Classic Rally class

It has the original guide and everything, the only thing we allow to change in Standard class is tyres, ballast, axle washers and screws.
We do allow a motor swap from the same manufacturer as the car as long as it's the same 'type', so SCX RX-42B is pretty rapid (for an SCX motor that is).

Are urethanes allowed? If so then WASP #17 are excellent replacements.
