There seems to be a major problem with SLOT magazine, issue 67 was available in digital format 18th December yet despite badgering Doolittle publications the 'paper' copy only arrived 19th February (listed at Pendle next day), now today 21st February I see that issue 68 is now digitally available, basically it means the magazine I've just bought is one issue out of date.
The magazine is already about 6-8 weeks out of schedule, now I'm one of the 'old skool' who much prefers his magazines to be in paper format, much nicer reading, but perhaps Doolittle dont want us regular subscribers anymore.
Rant over (for now)
Model World Live 2025
Where: NEC Birmingham
When: 26/27 April 2025
I just posted this event on my FB page and have had several people comment that they werent aware of the event, so thought I had better share more widely.
I will be there with the Mission Motorsport Goodwood track helping to raise money for this great charity.
Please come and say hi and have a go at posting a fast lap.... prizes available.
Eight friends got together for wings, and a race broke out.
Thank you very kindly to Cupcake for hosting another fun evening.
The evening started out with the Boulevard Cruiser class. 14k slow motors. Corvettes and other sports cars need not apply. These big cars would just nerf the little cars off the track.
Pre war buggies were up next (as the host calls them). 14k slimline motors for these old antiques.
Slot.It DTM's are always fun to race.
Now that everyone was warmed up. Unlimited Can-Am was a great way to finish off the evening. Fast and furious all the way to the end!
Any Can-Am body/chassis with any motor and gears. There's a chance that one of the cars might be a ThunderSlot.
Thank you very kindly for looking.
Ken
Some items I think I can get rid of:

Feel free to contact me with questions.
Thanks
It seams like most of the H.O brands of slot cars have there own seperate collecors guides (some even have multiple editions)
Does anyone know of a collector guide for Carerra slot cars?
Regards, Chet
We’ve put together a catalogue of our products, and it’s packed with some great options—whether you’re after performance, looks, or both. Have a browse, see what you think. Might be something in there that’s just right for your next build.
