- Policar Lotus 72 Policar have released a new livery for the Lotus 72, which recreates a car with a tragic tale to tell. Driving for Lotus, on September 5th 1970, Jochen Rindt succumbed to a fatal crash at the Parabolica turn in Monza, during practise. Despite this tragic event, he had already secured victories in five out of the first ten races that year, enough to make him the only posthumous World Champion in Formula 1 history.

- Slot.it Toyota 86C Slot.it have released a new livery of the Toyota 86C, listed as recreating the Acheson & Roe car at the 1987 1,000Km of Fuji. Confusingly though, most sources list Kaoru Hoshino & Will Hoy as the drivers.

Coming Soon

- Avant Slot Mitsubishi Lancer Expected imminently in the UK are Avant Slot’s new Mitsubishi Lancer & HRX Ford. The two Mitsubishis on the left both recreate cars driven by G.Spinelli & H.Youssef in the 2012 Dakar Rally, and Rally dos Sertoes, whist the HRX Ford was driven by Nasser Al-Attiyah & Matthieu Baumel in the 2014 FIA Cross-Country Championship.

Built

- Racing Replicas Elva Courier Pete Shepherd has built up this lovely Elva Courier from his own Racing Replicas kit. The car was commissioned by a customer who is restoring their own rescued Elva, and is intended to show how the real car might look like when restored. If you’d like a similar kit supplied in kit form or fully built you can contact Pete over on his Racing Replicas Facebook group.
