Grizedale Forest
Grizedale was one of the most iconic stages of the old RAC Rally, providing up to 16 miles of uninterrupted, flat out forestry tracks for the competitors. Quite a challenge on a cold, dark, winter's day in Britain.
Situated in the south of the Lake District, just west of Coniston, various configurations of the forest tracks were used throughout the history of the RAC Rally.
Of course, our representation here is at least partly fictional, in so much as it's a complete circuit, rather than a pure rally stage. But it does use the exact same tracks that were used to make up those original stages.
