- Calling the online-help für "Available Track Sections" and "Batch-export Track-Libraries" now work correctly.
- In some cases the list of lap tables has not been purged completely after closing the dialog. These tables were displayed again when the dialog has been re-opened later on. This has been fixed.
- If the list of fastest laps is filtered, the ranking among the filtered records is displayed along with the overall ranking in brackets. The same goes for the percentage displayed in the same list.
- The percentage of remaining fuel during a race is displayed in bold letters.
- The list of fastest laps can now also be restricted to the entries with a specific minimal lap time.
- Extended functionality for updating record of the list of fastest laps.
- The date list in the dialog of the list of fastest laps in now sorted.
- The layout of the dialog of fastest laps is slighty changed.
- The starting lights displayed on screen can be altered. The images must be named "SLOn.jpg" and "SLOff.jpg", must be stored in the slotman-folder and must be of the same resolution.

Common:
- Basic data for cars, controllers etc. may now be removed throughout the program to provide more space for the information that is actually used.
- The configuration dialogs for the track editor and for timing have been divided more clearly. In addition a menu item for the color configuration has been added.
- Copying a display configuration only worked for lanes 1 to 4. This has been fixed.
- Opening the style editor for track sections directly from the main menu has led to an error message. This has been fixed.
- Entering the text size for reports had no effect. This has been fixed. The preview is now updated correctly.
- After adding a track or curb section to a track system and saving the changes, an error occurred in case there was more than one color configuration present. This has been fixed.
- The on-screen-display of tables can now be colorized for better readability.
- To delete a track system, one had to specify another existing track system which got the track sections of the deleted system copied into. This is now necessary only if both track systems are compatible (e.g. same track width and lane spacing) and if there are more than one compatible systems remaining.
- The installation creates the sub-folder "STS" which contains a set of predefines track system libraries. When a system is exported, it is written to this folder.
- There are wizards available for the configuration of track system libraries and Racecontrol signal assignment.
- The pre-defined track system Carrera Exclusiv/Evolution now contains the Pro-X lane changes.
Track Planner:
- After replacing a combination of several curved sections inside the track editor, the status bar has not been updated accordingly. This has been fixed. Additionally the replace command can now be undone.
- A small redraw problem with the display of the prototype track sections has been fixed.
- Flipping a track layout vertically or horizontally was done incorrectly under certain circumstances. This has been fixed.
- A bug in the import of track libraries has been fixed.
- For layouts with more than 2 lanes, you can switch between the innermost and outermost strands.
- Any track section of the current strand can be set as the new start section.
- There is a new mode that can be used for moving and rotating the layout. As rotating is now an interactive process, the dialog for the direction of the start section has been removed. The function "Optimize Space" can now be called directly from the main menu.
- The track section table now contains one more column diplaying the number of additionally needed track sections per type.
Timing:
- The default settings for the point distribution of championships has been changed to now follow the current rules of Formula 1.
- The lane configuration for training, simple race and elimination race is now being displayed after the race setup instead of before.
- After simple races that are part of a championship is was possible to repeat the race from the timing window directly. This has been fixed.
- When leaving the timing window configuration, the preview window was not removed and the "Use Prefix" option of the current element has been cleared. This has been fixed.
- The are additional configuration options for the timing window.
- Timing functionality is extended to 8 lanes.
- The layout of the lane setup and the timing window has been reworked.
- Track Calls are now initiated via keys F5 to F12. The same keys are used for resetting the best lap time (only for practice mode) in case the Shift-key is pressed also.
- Repeated display of the table of fastest laps as well as the lap table has been sped up significantly.
- The automatic preview of changes made to the layout of the timing window or the intermediate result has been enhanced.
- The dialogs for the fastest laps and lap tables are always displayed as large as possible.
- During a timing session the lane in front is displayed using a colored rectangle.
- To get some additional space in the timing session window, the lane label and the usage-symbol (red circle) have been combined.
- The Club Race for heats limited by time has ben extended. Now 1/100ths of laps are entered instead of yards or meters after each heat. Heats may be started from Start/Finish as well as from the car´s positions after the previous heat.
- If a user has not used the timing functionality (or if a new slotman.dat is being created), the LPT-signal output is set to turn OFF al LPT pins at program startup.
- When switching between the configurations in the dialog of the Racecontrol Box setup, the distances entered for the split times has not been updated correctly. This has been fixed.
- The maximum duration of the LPT-signal output for jump starts or empty fuel (including penalty time) is no longer limited to 240 seconds.
- The fastst lap table now also includes a column for the average speed.
- There was an error message in Windows NT4/2000/XP when trying to configure a LPT-output-signal if the "Test"-option was activated (the program would proceed normally, though). This has been fixed.
- Configuration of LPT-output-signals was possible even when the fuel option was turned off. This has been fixed. In addition there is some status information available during configuration.
- The display of the starting lights using Windows95/98/ME with a true color display has been enhanced.
- On some systems triggering pause mode resulted in a program error. This has been fixed.
- The LPT-Signal at the end of the jump start penalty was output even when LPT-outputs were not configured for jum starts. This has been fixed.
- Saving the fastest laps was not done if the list of fastest laps was already filled to the maximum an there were only very few entries present for this particular combination of driver/car etc. This has been fixed.
- At restart after a Track Call the sound "Start" has not been output. This has been fixed.

- A bug in loading some slotman.dat files from older versions has been fixed.
- Starting races directly from the track layout editor opened the track editor dialog again before initiating the race. This has been fixed.
- A bug in saving/loading the main menu configuration has been fixed.
- Changing the current track system in the track section style dialog did not update the list of available track sections. This has been fixed.
- The preview image in the track section style configuration dialog is now being removed if there is no active configuration for the current track section.
- In some cases an error message was displayed on importing a track system library or track library. This has been fixed for libraries that were saved using this version of Slotman.
- Track borders for curves and banked curves could not be added if there were no other borders defined for the given radius. This has been fixed.
- On some systems the part list dialog shown in the track editor has been partially cut. This has been fixed.
- Manipulating pre-defined packs in track systems in some cases caused an error while displaying the track section list inside the track editor. This has been fixed.
- Deleting a track system caused an error in some cases when the prototype menu was opened later on. This has been fixed.
- The fuel meter in the timing window now uses the entire horizontal space available.
- Renaming a track system is now mirrored immediately in the list of available track systems.
- The starting time has not been reset before a (further) race. This has been fixed.
- Enhancement of the timing window configuration: The configuration dialog is automatically set to the foreground, when called from the timing window configuration, this dialog is hidden for a better view of the timing window preview. The icon-bar is now correctly displayed on the bottom of the preview window.
- Display of the fuel gauge: Setting an Y-offset is now possible.
- The maximum values for the duration of the penalty time and for LPT-output in case of empty fuel has been extended from one to four minutes. A further extension for this will be implemented in a future release.

- The track system configuration has been completely redesigned. Now it´s possible to use multiple track systems in the same slotman.dat (the same installation of Slotman).
- The track section configuration has also been enhanced significantly. Now multiple corner sections of the same radius but different arcs can be used.
- Now basic packs can be managed within the track section packs. The basic packs can be used optionally in the list of packs needed for a specific layout.
- The track planner has been renewed and adapted to the new track system and track section configuration. For example 8-lane layouts can now be designed and loopings can be used.
- To make things easier for most new users, the Carrera track systems Exclusiv/Evolution, Profi and GO!!! are predefined. These systems are included only if there´s no existing slotman.dat file is found.
- The main menu has been redesigned and can be adapted to personal needs.
- An error in the resize of the fastest lasp dialog has been fixed.
- For new slotman.dat files the LPT-output-signals for the lanes are set inactive . This can be changed in the LPT-output setup dialog and does not apply to configurations that have been made with older versions of Slotman.
- Switching off sound output in the timing configuration was ignored. The bug has been fixed.
- Triggering a track call by keyboard while the current standings window is active has ben simplyfied.
- Closing the timing window can only be done by clicking the appropriate button. Closing by Alt-F4 has been disabled.
- Closing the starting light window by Alt-F4 raised an error and has been disabled.
- The dialog of the lap table has been displayed incorrectly on some system. This has been fixed.
- The lap table that can be displayed optionally after a timing session may now be exported to file or printer.
- When exporting lap times to file or printer, the times can also be exported in a simple milliseconds-format.
- When using very large track lane lengths an error occurred after a club race on time distance. The lane lengths of the default track are limited to 500m now.
- The Racecontrol-Box number assigned to a specific lane is now being displayed in the configuration of the split time and refuel-signal configuration.
- The lane distance that can be input after a club race on time distance may now be as large as the whole lane length (rounded to the lower integer number).
- In a training session if the car had been changed between the start/finish line and a split time, this split time had been displayed as 0:00:000. This has been fixed.
- Sound-File names now may contain up 64 (instead of 32) characters.
- Annotations in the timming session window may now contain up to 32 (instead of 16) characters.

- After each timing session the results are displayed. Standings can be displayed during the race.
- The track section list of the track editor displayed "0" instead of the number of missing parts, if more then the available number of sections of a specific type had been used. This has been fixed.
- After deleting items from the list of fastest lap, the list is automatically updated.
- Entries from the list of the fastest laps can now be edited.
- A error message displayed in some cases when entries from the list of fastest laps were deleted has ben removed.
- The prototype and part list dialogs in the track editor now can be brought to front/sent to back by an "Stay on Top"-option.
- The program "froze" if a simple race was repeated and the canceled in the lane configuration. This has been fixed.
- The buttons of the timing window have been converted to icons. The configuration of timing and colour selection is now available directly from the timing window. The buttons "Cancel" and "Close" have been merged into one.
- Sometimes the wrong total time has been displayed for simple races which had been cancelled . This has been fixed.
- Decreasing the number of repeats in clubraces didn´t work in some cases. This has been fixed.
- The ","-sign can now be used besides the "." as a comma in all input fields which ask for floating-point-values. However, for output the "."-sign is used.
- After each heat a table of lap times can be displayed. Lap times can be edited here before the final standings are displayed.
- The reference lap time for the refuel option can be set manually. If it isn't set, the lap record is used as in previous versions.
- Point distribution in championships now use the new Formula One points.

- Small bugs in the saving process for the list of fastest laps have been fixed.
- Simple Races with only one lane used can now be staged.
- Deleting master data led to errors in the saved lane configurations. This has been fixed.
- The maximum number of car classes has been increased.
- The clubrace mode has been redesigned completely. The heat sequence can now be edited, cars can be assigned to lanes directly etc.
- The selection dialog for the track editor now reappears automatically when the track editor itself is being closed.
- When configuring signal output on the parallel port, the port diagram on the main page hasn´t been updated after a configuration has been tested. This has been fixed.
- When a signal is output on pins 14 & 17 of the parallel port, this signal is inverted by the port. The display of the port diagrams in the configuration dialogs has been adapted accordingly.
- A bug concerning the swapping of elements in the configuration dialog for the timing window layout has been fixed.
- The resource-consumption has been decreased. The "Win32 API failure" problem that occurred on some systems should be solved.
- More parameters from various dialogs are saved for the next program start.
- The track editor and some dialogs have been enhanced by using icons for the various function calls.
- When displaying the result of a club race in a championship, an error message appeared. This has been fixed.
- Some information hasn´t been displayed in the timing window if the lane colour option was turned on. This has been fixed.
- The grid spacing in the display dialog of the track editor couldn´t be altered using the U.S.-System. This has been fixed, the minimum grid-spacing now is 10 inches.
- The configuration dialogs for magnets and weights have been rearranged slightly.
- Sometimes ending a clubrace or elimination race of a championship displayed an error message and the race result was not saved to the result list of the track. This has been fixed.

- The maximum number of championships has been set to 32; Each championship may consist of up to 200 races now.
- The list of available lane configurations hasn´t been updated after renaming a configuration. This has been fixed.
- Practice sessions were not stopped after the preset time has run out. This has been fixed.
- A bug concerning the result calculation in club races (runs limited by time) has been fixed.
- The height of the timing session dialog was reset prior to configuration. This has been fixed.
- The length of track call periods hasn´t been taken into account for jump start penalties. This has been fixed.
- Jump starts after track call periods have been taken into account. This has been changed since jump start detection depends on the car´s position at the beginning of the period.
- Drivers that haven´t completed the preset number of laps in club-races get a penalty time which depends on configuration, the current lap record and the number of laps missing.
- There´s a possibility to configure outputs to the LPT port for events during a timing session.
- The starting lights have been made configurable from 2 to 5 lights.
- Races in championships may be annulled.
- The list of championship races is now numbered.
- If a race had been started from the championships-dialog, the result was assigned to the last race of this championship instead of the current one. This has been fixed.
- The latest used lane setup is saved for the next time Slotman is started.
- For timing sessions there may now be an extra time in which signals are counted. The extra time also applies to the beginning of track call periods (for sessions limited by time or laps).
- Readability of long entries in the lane setup dialog has been enhanced.
- The width of the configuration dialog for lane setups has been increased for enhanced readability of long entries.
The car´s and tyre´s "mileage" calculation has been altered slightly.

- Split times and refuelling can be triggered by signals on the parallel and/or gameport.
- Up to 3 split times per lane are supported. Sector times are listed in the fastest laps and lap table dialogs
- Timing can be paused by hitting a key or by signal input from the parallel or gameport.

- The currently selected track section is not highlighted anymore when the layout is being printed.

- The editor fields in the dialog of the lane configuration have been enlarged for better readability of longer names. The editor fields in the lane setup also have been enlarged a little bit.
