KRemoving Lap Timer 2000

If you find that Lap Timer 2000 does not meet your needs you can remove it from your computer system by opening the MS Windows Control Panel and selecting the Add/Remove Programs utility.



Lap Timer 2000 will appear in the list of programs and utilities that MS Windows can remove for you automatically.


You may also simply delete the following files from your hard drive.


All of these files will be located in the folder that you originally installed Lap Timer in.


The default location for all Lap Timer 2000 program files is the C:\Program Files\Software by Design folder. Unless you specified a different folder when you ran SETUP.EXE you will find the Lap Timer files there.


LapTimer.exe        Lap Timer Application.

LapTimer.sys        Lap Timer Device Driver.

LapTimer.cnt        Lap Timer Help Topics File

LapTimer.hlp        Lap Timer Help File


If you have opened and used the Lap Timer 2000 Help files your system may contain the following two (2) files. These files are created by the standard MS Windows Help program WinHlp32.exe. These files may also be safely removed.


LapTimer.gid        MS Windows Help settings file. This file contains the Lap Timer Help window size and desktop location as well as any bookmarks you may have created.


LapTimer.fts        MS Windows Help word database. This file is created when you build a custom word list for Lap Timer Help files. This file is used to search for words and phrases in the Lap Timer Help files.


Lap Timer 2000 does not use any custom DLL files or system drivers. If you delete the files mentioned above from your systems hard drive you will have completely removed Lap Timer from your computer system.


KNote If you have installed Lap Timer shortcuts on the MS Explorer Start Menu use the Help | Setup command to remove the shortcutsLap Timer Explorer Setup you created before you delete the Lap Timer files mentioned above.
