Lap Timer 2000 can be invoked using command line arguments to reset port and timing defaults. To run Lap Timer 2000 with command line arguments select the Run command from the MS Windows Start Menu and enter:
KLapTimer.exe /reset
The /reset command will restore the port settings to the default joystick game port interface, as well as return the timer interrupt period to 10 milliseconds and the debounce delay to 500 milliseconds.
KLapTimer.exe /setup
The /setup command will open the Lap Timer 2000 Program Options window at startup and allow you to change various program settings before the main program window is opened.
KNote If you are running Lap Timer 2000 on an MS Windows NT/2000/XP system and you inadvertently specified the parallel printer port or serial communications interface the command line argument above will reset the program to the standard joystick port.
