KHot Laps Database Records

Hot Laps database records can be added or modified using the Edit | New Record and Edit | Edit Record menu commands found on the Hot Laps menu bar.





The descriptions below include information about each of the fields in a Hot Laps database record.


KDriver

Use this entry field to record the driver’s name. You may select a driver for the drop list or press the Edit button off to the right of the entry field to define a newAdding & Modifying Drivers driver.


KCar

Use this entry field to record the slot car used for the record. You may select a car for the drop list or press the Edit button off to the right of the entry field to define a newAdding & Modifying Cars slot car.


KClass

Use this entry field to record the competition class. You may select a competition class for the drop list or press the Edit button off to the right of the entry field to define a newAdding & Modifying Classes racing class.


KTrack

Use this entry field to record the race track this record applies to.


KDate

Use these entry fields to specify the date this Hot Laps database record was created.


KScale

Select the scale of the slot car this record applies to.


KBest Lap

Use this entry field to record the best lap time achieved for this slot car.


KLane No.

Use this entry field to specify the lane number this database record.


KNotes

Use this entry field to record and notes or comments you would like to store along with this Hot Laps database record.


KOK

Press this button when you have completed your additions or modifications. When you press this button the Hot Laps database record will be saved.


KCancel

Press this button to close the record editing window without making any changes. If you have made any changes to the Hot Laps database record and then press this button your changes will not be used, and your previous data will remain in use.


KHelp

Press this button to open the Lap Timer Help Window and go directly to the Hot Laps Database Records topic.
