Scalextric DPR extractor tool - CMOTD - 8th-Jul-20

The little white DPR plug in Scalextric cars can be a right pig to remove, often resulting in broken fingernails. There is a tool available which works very well and makes the job simples but but there is no reference to it in any Scalextric literature.[attachment=7455]

Their Hornby locomotives use exactly the same plug and the tool, part #X6468, is generally available from model railway shops. LINK 

A cheap solution if you are struggling with the little blighters.
