just wondering if anyone has or knows where i could find/buy  an STL file or 3D print for a chassis/ lower body for a Scalextric Ferrari C62/C90
Or if anyone has an original  lower body /chassis for sale

Kev

There's a couple on ebay now - yellow one and there's another yellow one

Like dabbling with the later era CAN AM cars as these are easier to draw than the earlier cars with the flowing curves in 3 planes. Below is a dabbling exercise from a while ago to look at drawing a Lola T333CS, this particular version stopped at this point as I redrew the design from scratch.

Fast forward to this year and racing NSR F1s on a Ninco club track and the thought crossed my mind of doing a F5000 version body to sit on the NSR F1 chassis below.
Created some lower profile TPU front tyres to go on the NSR hubs but otherwise a stock NSR chassis.

Resurrecting the design in pic 1 and a bit of dabbling produced a stretched version to fit on the NSR F1 chassis as below. This is FDM printed on a CR10s and shown here after rubbing down and primer applied. Shell prints vertically in one go complete with driver.

Feel compelled now to design a 3dp chassis for this shell to compete against the NSR.

Cheers

Yup, the vertical prints are pretty good.   That one looks nice.

and now an upper body shell for C3033
they obviously dont match lol

Lola T222, my entry for a 3DP proxy.
Printed everything except running gear, an homage to Bob Nagel's car.
