That’s correct, as far as I know the SRP motors are still available but perhaps not in stock currently.
And the RX & RF motors are available on commercially available RTR models.

I love the idea of mixing the eras, the idea of racing 60's cars against modern cars is very appealing, much more along the lines of what we race here in our club.

Because of the nature and construction of the cars available, it just seemed more appropriate to organise this way, although not necessarily would work for others.

There's a good selection of cars on that list that have been slowly disappearing under a thickening layer of dust having sat waiting on my shelf for that special moment for years

I think the Revoslot Tourer Gr2 (event 1) will be a love or loath them type of appeal, but at least the cars are fairly evenly balanced. The skill here is solely in the preparation.
Modified Tourers (event 2) will be the most challenging with the narrower and a often neglected range of cars, I deliberately aimed this one towards the those who will make the most out of the cars “on the shelf” and the permitted modifications are not too advantageous to make a well tuned RTR car uncompetitive.
The Open Tourer (event 3) will be familiar ground for many, but the challenge will be as whether the Scratchbuild Muscle cars can run as well as the Slot it DTM types ??
On paper the scratchbuild cars might have the advantage with a greater scope for choice of chassis, motors etc. But I would not like to predict the outcome.

I like a challenge and immediately drawn to the Modified Tourers.
Is there a separate 'fixed' motor mounts class in Event 2?

That'll be Event 3 then going by Graham's draft rules
