I love Group C and LMP cars, they're great to race.  We should take a leaf out of Revoslots book and use tiny magnets to hold the rear wing on (as I discovered with Brumos Ferrari), Andy said he has one like that, I wasn't aware that was a standard feature (it's a great idea too).

It’s a great feature on the standard Ferrari 333, just not on the white kits I believe.  It takes a big hit to dislodge it.  And based on the cars performance, it doesn’t generate any additional downforce.  Kevan thank you and your team for hosting this round and maximizing the performance of each car.  I look forward to the videos.  And The Viper secured my 85 career win.  Others have a TON more but it’s special as to me I know your passion for proxies, so who better to host it.

The little magnet is so far away from the track I doubt you could even measure the 'magnetic' effect.

Figure 5 proxies a year on average10 races each, over 14 years that’s over 700 races of hit and miss tuning.

RE: Global GT Challenge Proxy - Official Results - Kevan - 13th-Jul-25

I'm still in single figures as far as proxies entered, the first one was the last International Proxy run by Alexis from Greece which was cancelled due to covid.

...it's a shame he doesn't enter these proxies

RE: Global GT Challenge Proxy - Official Results - Kevan - 14th-Jul-25

There's three videos altogether:
1. The car previews
2. The racing and scores
3. Shelf-cam, a GoPro looking down on proceedings including the pre-race car cleaning and banter

2. above is done and has timelines for each heat if you want to watch your own cars in action.

Heats #33 & #34 the cars were in the wrong lanes and was spotted after heat #34 when Andy realised both cars had been put on the wrong base plates after pre-race cleaning.  The computer screen shows BARacer with 38.008 and ModSports with 36.50 - those scores were swapped and are correct in the official results.
ModSports Corvette did 38.008 and BARacer Mclaren did 36.50

Video:

The car preview video and race day overhead 'shelf-cam' will be uploaded in the next few days.

A great view of the cars, and illustrates quite well just how fast the ModSports Modified BMW was .

RE: Global GT Challenge Proxy - Official Results - Kevan - 15th-Jul-25

The box was collected about 11.30 this morning and the cars are now on their way back to Graham.
