Event 4 Modern WRC
I seemed to be repeating myself, but if Event 1 was Jaguar, Event 2 was Audi, Event 3 was Porsche & Triumph.....then certainly Event 4 is for the Citroen & Subaru shoot out
Car 1
[attachment=28916]
#7 Citroen Saxo - Bangers Racing Class B
Another first class build by Bangers Racing, Ninco body, HRS2 Universal chassis, angle winder with Boxer 21.5K rpm motor.
Car 2
[attachment=28917]
#10 Subaru - Harrisons Racers Class A
The first of our 5 Subaru's, this one is a Ninco standard car with NC2 motor.
Car 3
[attachment=28922]
#5 Citroen C4 Class B
This is one of the sportier Ninco models produced as an angle winder 4WD, and NC5 motor. Goes really well.
Car 4
[attachment=28926]
#6 Hyundai I-20 - Mountain View Class B
After having the Alfa Gran Turismo as the oldest model, we now have the newest. This is a SCX body with WSR chassis and in line Scaleauto 20K motor. Has been run at the Wye Valley Rally last Autumn, so has some running form
Car 5
[attachment=28927]
#7 Subaru - Team Alaric Class A
A warm welcome to another of our Proxy newcomers "Team Alaric"
They are trying their luck with a one entry Standard Scalextric Subaru. This model looks like an "out of the showroom" model, perfect appearance. I doubt it has been run before on a track. And it runs quite fast as well.
Car 6
[attachment=28928]
#11 Ford Focus - SSRC Class B
So we have another not commonly run car from SSRC, this is another Ninco in line model with NC5 motor
Car 7
[attachment=28929]
#5 Subaru - Woodcote Racing Class B
Also from our Slotracer online patron is this Ninco model with in line NC5 motor.
Car 8
[attachment=28930]
#1 Citroen C4 - BARacer Class B
This is another model with some Rallying form, as I witnessed last year, might even have driven it
Should be an interesting battle between the Ninco Citroen's. This one is an in line with NC5 motor.
Car 9
[attachment=28933]
#4 Subaru - High Voltage Class B
Another big welcome to High Voltage, another new entrant to the proxy's.
This is a super fast Scalextric modified with a Scaleauto 20K motor, unusual silver coloured one, not sure I like the paper wheel inserts (cringe), but I did not specify otherwise I suppose.
Car10
[attachment=28931]
#21 Renault Clio - Scott Sports Class A
A clever choice I think here, this small Rally car should do well in its class and perhaps in the Event. This is a Ninco standard in line car with NC2 motor.
Car 11
[attachment=28932]
#5 Subaru - james@wyevalley Class B
I found this car rather laboured, but on the otherhand I know James is a keen Rally live event attendee, so I suspect that this car has plenty of form and might well surprise me in the overall scheme of things.
It is a standard Ninco with in line NC5 motor.
Ok taking another break before the final Scrutineer report.

Ninco Ford Focus and Citroen C4 are always top runners on our Rally stages.

Graham, if you did drive my C4 at the Wye Valley event, any idea where the off side wing mirror went!!!???

And so finally we have the scrutineer report for Event 4
[attachment=28935]
And yes we have a fully compliant list of cars again.
oh, and I know I gave out some email warnings to those who entered this Event 4 about rear wheel diameter non compliance, but have since realised that as far as I am now aware of, all those cars which were raised as "under spec" fall (or technically just about) into the under 2litre diameter Rule. So those warnings have been withdrawn
So problem solved
And I think I can declare that all the cars in this proxy are compliant, and I don't need to consider issuing any penalties at the end of the series, well done to you all
By now you would have realised that I have run out of time to make the Rally Stage run today (time really goes by to quick). So I will be getting up early in an attempt to run both the Rally & Tarmac stages tomorrow.

I am afraid I do not remember seeing it, and as the running of the Proxy cars was shared out between the attendees for different stages, it could have been lost at any time.
As you will notice both in their or for that matter in my rules, "small details like wing mirrors can be left off the car" when entering them.
I would say that in the main that is advisable, as these items do come off and in a busy environment, even on my tracks such items go missing very easily.

As Gpa113 noted, mine is also a legacy of the Woodcote TR7 Proxy, the starting point for the golden generation of budding rally car builders on here!

I wonder/hope Scalextric have the TR7 scheduled for modern mold tooling along the lines of the SD1 (yeah, where's the SD1's....)

In case anyone was wondering? The Bangers Saxo motor is a 21.5k rpm Boxer 2. I haven't managed to find a 25.5k rpm, version.

Opps, had missed that error, I have corrected it.
Thanks Chris

I'm worried we haven't heard from Graham...
Either he's having the best fun ever, or else all our guides are jamming in his slot!
