Sheer excellence in these figures Hub!
The two chaps at the right hand side are very dapper.

I later adapted the figure on the right for the Swedish Rally Track.

While sawing, waving to the passing rally cars.                                                                   A Scalextric marchal can be easily converted into a fisherman
by changing his flag for a fishing rod

Rallyhub, you have a very creative imagination, matched by your hand/eye co-ordination.

And I smiled at your use of the word "easily"!

Swedish Safety Inspector: So sir, how did your accident happen?
Sven: Well I was put infront of the circular saw by my boss.
SSI: How much training did he give you on the equipment?
S: None
SSI: Then what happened?
S: I managed to get the saw going, but then my favourite rally driver passed by and I thought I would give them a wave...
SSI: And...
S: Well my boss says he thinks he can fix my arm on again with a pin.
SSI: Any regrets?
S: Yes, I wish I had gone fishing with my friend Leo, over from Scotland. He even brought me a new cap to wear for my flies.

What a funny conversation you wrote. You really made me laugh.
Well done.

Modified Scalextric figures.                                                                                                           The waving Scalextric lady now wears blue jeans.

Watching the action from the footpath.                                                                                  Photographers are everywhere.

Stunning hedge work.

Have you published pictures of this layout anywhere?

Edit...just made the effort to look through the 'show us your track' thread and there it is...please can I come round and play!?

Hi Jeremy,

I showed the finished track during the UK Slot Car Festival 2018 in Gaydon.
A year earlier I showed it unfinished.
Let's hope to be back at the festival soon.
