Thanks Gordon ,got most of it finished now just the screen to do and of course the blue and yellow nose .The little car has come up well except for getting the timber out  Angry

Sorry about that. I suspect a Dremel would be a good idea rather than break the plastic. I can't remember what it was stuck in with, either superglue or epoxy probably.

RE: 1956 Ferrari D50 - Fluff - 1st-Jul-20

Hi Gordon ,done that with a dremel ,well thinned it down a lot ,keeping away from the plastic body .Just soaked it for a few hours in brake fluid and the paint fell off .Many thanks another project

Sorry to say it Steve but that oil cooler looks naff. In most photos of these cars there is a mesh outer grille protecting the radiators and that obscures them. Would it be feasible to file down the oil cooler "effect" and just leave a plain black insert.

I'd probably just leave the pipes on but paint them black to match the grille.

RE: 1956 Ferrari D50 - Fluff - 1st-Jul-20

Tell it like it is Leo ,I agree ,I'll just paint it black .It will have to stay as prominent as it is cos I can't get it out now without damage .
