Evening all
If anybody else has a modern Ninco Ford Focus WRC, or similar era Ninco rally car, please could you measure the rear wheel/tyre diameter?
I am sure mine is standard, but it is definitely just under the 19mm minimum rule.
Would be interested to see what other Nincos measure up as.
Thanks,
Pip

I just spent the best part of 30 minutes trimming the guide down to conform to the rule:
20mm long, 1.5mm thick, 6mm guide flag depth (minus the braid)...check your guides guys

Also please do not send guides with pointy or protruding front end on guide flags. See the photos of the NSR and Avant Rally guides on the leading page.

You noted those guides have blades 5.6mm deep, 18-19mm long and 1.6-1.7mm thick which is ideal for this Proxy...are you going to be strict on guide thickness as these are above the 1.5mm in the rules.

The rules regarding the guide dimensions are "strongly advisable" and are self penalising if the guides fitted fail to work on any of the stages of the rounds, the hosts will not be asked to change guides for entrants to work on their particular stages. So if a car is slowed down, sticks in the guide rail or fails to make the inclines the cars stage will receive the default timing.

The first Ninco Subaru has arrived and has rear wheels/Tyres diameter of 18.7mm.

Hi Graham,
That would indicate that my Focus is as standard, as the measurement is the same.

I wish the guide dimensions were marked as 'strongly advisable' before...at the moment the rule states 'must be'.

The tyres on the Subaru are standard size ones with tread intact.
