Reduce processing time"

Add more photos? I make photos of every side of the car and of the front and back of the box. Should I also make a photo of the bottom of the box?
Add details to the description? Apart from model, maker, type number, drives and race the car participated in I need to describe it?
Offer free delivery? Really, so I should loose money on every sale? Maybe eBay should lower there percentage that includes the postage costs?
Reduce processing time? I sent as soon as the buyer pays, maybe I should already sent it while it is still not sold?

I've been selling and buying for more than 25 tears now, and it becomes badder and badder. I don't need their B.S. messages but I can't opt out.

Regretfully eBay is my only option to sell internationally since I don't want a Fartbook account but it really becomes a pain in the a$$.]]>

No, it was actually the cars finally arriving from the USA Shelby Proxy last year  Rofl

So the tracking info died in Germany, and I had to give Oxo Cube the sad news that it looked like they had disappeared into the slot car black hole some time in November.

As usual at the time USPS could not give me any help once out of the country, and similarly nor could Royal Mail unless the cars appeared in the UK.

So I did not persue them any more and just kept my fingers crossed .

When starting to pay I noticed that the total price was higher than expected so I checked it to see if I made a mistake.
I then saw that the seller was using the Global Shipping Program that was charging an additional GBP 15 on a GBP 45 item.
Because of import duties and additional costs, while import from the UK is free below 150 Euro!

Why are people using this scam system of Ebay? 

I messaged the seller that I cancelled the order because of these unnecessary costs that I am not willing to pay but that I am still willing to buy for the action price and stated shipping.

If the listing would clearly show that there was such an amount of extra costs I would not have bid at all. Shame on Ebay.]]>

Apart from the endless complaints about dog poo you can guarantee that someone will ask every single day - "when does the shop shut, is the Post Office open on Saturday, how do I book the village hall?" etc. etc. None of these people seem to know about Google and they think that Facebook is some kind of oracle. Even stranger is the fact that normally sensible people answer these cretins!

we also have a mainline railway station. It was shut during the Beeching era but eventually resurrected after a local campaign nearly 50 years ago. On May 5th there will be a small celebration about this as you can see from the following screenshot.

I also had a really stressful experience when it automatically updated to 10 a few years ago.  I spent ages trying to roll it all back.  Normally, I don't allow updates, but that particular one caught me out.  Also, I now get messages every time I start the laptop telling me that I have to update to 10 or my device will become unusable.  I can see this situation getting worse once 10 is forcibly replaced by 11 later this year.

Recently I've read of someone using Linux.  To be honest I didn't understand a lot of the language, but it seems to be a case of "install it and forget it".  No forced updates to deal with - or learn to live with.  But is it useable enough for a technophobe?  I bricked a laptop years ago and don't want to risk doing it again.]]>

It's not that I'm a huge fan of Catalunya, and I know nothing about the proposed Madrid track, but my concern is that street circuits are being pushed so hard, and as the BBC article states, one of the advantages of the move is that "90% of fans would be able to travel to the race via public transport on metro and train lines".

It is part of Formula 1's aim to "to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2030".

Now, my concerns are two fold. Firstly, in spite of being a long time supporter of environmental and green issues, I smell a rat. It has the whiff of greenwashing about it, because 90% of the fans may be able to get there via public transport if they live in Madrid, but that doesn't mean to say that they will, and it doesn't really account for all the people that will be driving, or flying in from other parts of Spain, or the rest of the world. "Would be able to" is not the same thing as people actually doing it.

My second concern is that the classic circuits like Spa Francorchamps, and Silverstone for instance, will be wiped out in an attempt to give F1 some fake greenwashing headlines, because neither of those circuits can be accessed by public transport. Losing real and genuinely challenging race tracks would be a shame, to me at least.]]>

I could forgive them producing a car totally the wrong way 'round, but not half-and-half.  For example, many of the works rally Escort mk1s were left hand drive, so why put the wipers on the left and the driver on the right?   Tappingfoot   The TeamSlot Escort RS2000 is the same (well, the one I bought is).]]>

I have an account with Premier Inn, because of the amount of times I/we use their facilities.  I always book online, and have never had a problem with any of my bookings (well, there was once but that was my fault......).  But recently, PI have started bombarding me with reminder e-mails at regular intervals during the week leading-up to the day of the booking.  If I mark them as spam, everything I get from PI will go straight into the spam folder.   Tappingfoot

So, short of remembering to un-spam them before I book, and then remembering to revert them once I get the confirmation and invoice, I suppose I'll have to put-up with their ******* spam.   Angry]]>

Fortunately my neighbour spotted it before it was pinched. The Royal Mail go from bad to worse, the words 'bunk up' and 'brothel' come to mind! Banghead Banghead]]>
