Ah, now you are talking.The only reason to celebrate. I already have the mincemeat and a couple of puds in the cupboard. I'd eat them all year but wish to continue being able to walk through the front door.

Normally make my own but the possibility of a house move has prompted laziness this year.

Hi Gordon,we make our own too ,an enjoyable morning in the kitchen .Made our own Christmas cake one year ,cost a fortune in brandy ,it was so soggy the icing wouldn't stick !!! Tasted great though .
