One marshal was rushed to the medical bay, 2 cars wheels fell off and one wing got detached, but overall a good days outing  Bigsmile

A couple of very short videos of Steve and Brian racing Transit vans and Policar Classic F1's:

We held this month's GOLD meet at Brian's excellent Conington Park today.
Great fun had by us all as usual and excellent food and snacks as always provided by Brian's good lady.
Thanks guys for the fun, one my favourite races was when the main light went out and we proceeded in subdued lighting with SCX Ford Escort Mk2's, stock apart from urethane rear tyres.
You run these and wonder why Scalextric still can't get it right when SCX could some 12 odd years ago !

Anyways a pic and short video of the Escorts from todays racing :)

Today the first meet of 2023 was held at Fluff's.

More carnage than usual ensued, with the track marshalls and spectators suffering, and the track biting back and breaking at least 3 cars !
Steve really pressed his home advantage , comprehensively kicking our butts.
All good fun, thanks for hosting Steve  Talking

Some shots of the Spectators

A couple of oops moments

And a short video of the track fighting back by randomly deslotting a Legends car for no apparent reason on a straight  Ambulance

Yesterdays meet was held at "Shedingarden" with the usual suspects attending, Steve was making the most of home track advantage, and winning most races.
A little later, a new member joined us, one of Steve's friends Tony. He proved equally good at defeating Brian and myself.
As usual all good fun and banter.  Beer

Due to the 1960's trackside safety measures, some casualties occurred. Ambulance No less than 3 spectators suffered broken legs, and one pair of spectators had a lucky escape.
A transit van race saw one vehicle somersault over the barrier landing on its wheels facing the wrong way, narrowly missing them !

Next meet scheduled to be at Connington Park.
