Info THE LIBRARY
#31

It's been a while, but we're back. Wavegreen

This week the Library opens up a brand new shelf for a manufacturer that was founded in 1946, and is still going strong today. Faller are obviously best known for their HO railway buildings and accessories, but they also made the Auto Motor Sport system which is featured in several of the eleven catalogues we've posted up. What is less well known is that they also briefly produced 1:32 and 1:24 scale cars and track.

Many thanks to rallyhub for the scans and for his patience.

Somewhere in a dusty, poorly lit corner of an old hard drive I found some more Scalextric catalogues, which I believe were supplied by Richard Winter a good while ago, so many thanks to him, as they help us to reach a significant milestone.

It has become a recurring theme, me finding things I meant to do ages ago, so I can only apologise for that, and thank everyone who has contributed to this project and shown admirable patience.

Anyway, I've now added Scalextric catalogues from 1985, 1990, 1994, 1995, and 1996, plus 27 Circuits for Scalextric which I believe is also from 1985.

All of which gives us a complete set of Scalextric catalogues right from 1960 through to 2000, or forty years.

Our ambition is to make that sixty years, and with Richard's help and kind contributions, I hope we won't keep you waiting too long for that next milestone, a completely comprehensive catalogue cornucopia. Rofl
