Why front motored slot cars & can they compete?
#21

Got to try it on a big club track at the weekend and my low cost fix to the front end has transformed the handling. It will actually go round - and come out of - corners at a reasonable pace now, to the degree that it is showing up the need for more work on the rear tyres, correct placement of ballast and maybe a check on free movement of the guide flag.

What may require expenditure is an upgraded motor, as there is still a distinct lack of speed in both acceleration and top end - but that won't happen until after I've checked which class the car actually fits into.

Try this to front-mounted cars if you're just racing at home and not club racing. https://www.facebook.com/100025600128999...917923175/
