Hello,
here I present my project, a module for my ‘still’ Carrera carpet railway. I tried to create as realistic a landscape as possible on the track module. In addition to the colour scheme of the track surface, the raised kerbs, rocks, ground design with earth and artificial turf (electrostatic grassing) and crash barriers were particularly important to me. For the latter, the crash barriers, despite numerous attempts with different materials, I couldn't avoid buying the crash barriers from a sheet metal modeller because I liked them so much.
I would like to build a complete track in this (or a similar) style one day - if I have enough time.
I realise that there is still a lot that can be improved. But as I myself went looking for a compact, detailed construction report containing all the above-mentioned components a few years ago and didn't find what I was looking for, I thought maybe someone could do something with this construction report.
I also look forward to similar reports from other forum members.
Greetings
Dirk
