Xmas Four lane Policar track
#11

Policar Home Build,

Below are photos of some of my track wiring.
The wiring kit made the whole prosses easy.
I installed two power taps on the track.
Please feel free to ask any question.

Cheers,
Dave -

Policar Home Track,

Well, I missed up my photo attachment and was unable to correct them, sorry about that.
Long story short, I finished the build, and everything runs and works as it should. The layout dimension is 20'x8', half of the table is only 6' deep.
I took my time with the build; it took me about a month to complete.
I did change the layout from my original plan, I did this because I didn't like the approach of the overpass of the track, and I didn't like the hairpin turn at the front of the long straight away.
My great nephew loves the track as well as my neighbors, even my wife is enjoying the track.
The Track-Mate timer/lap counter works great and was easy to install as well as the driver stand control kit.
The power supply was a must for the size of this track and the four lanes, because of the double power taps, I have no power loss/surging anywhere on the track.
I decided to use indoor/outdoor carpet on the table. It helps to keep the track in place, it helps with keeping the sound down while the cars are running, and I just like the way it looks.
I have no issue with the carpet strands getting onto the track or the cars.
The Policar guardrails work great, they are by far the best guard rails I have ever used. The guardrails are made from some type of rubber material which really catches the cars, the rubber material does not cause the car to bounce of it as well.

Hope this helps someone, please feel free to ask any question.
Keep racing and have fun!!
Dave -
