Likewise, really enjoying using and exploring the new app.
We took SmartRace to an evening event we put on for a local group of businessmen yesterday...
Set up for a 4 x 15 minute team race, it ran things very smoothly and there were plenty of positive comments about the professional-looking race screen and the improved pit stop settings, compared with the Magic app we'd used with the same group last autumn.
One of the weaknesses of ARC Pro compared with our RCS64 + APB set-up is the pit stops. However, the settings for SmartRace really help. I gave a 2 second pause on the brake button before the pit stop is initiated, plus a nice long 10 seconds for a full refuel. With a group of relatively new racers (and three total novices) it gave a less hectic race and smoother pit stops. I really liked the way Marc has configured fuel consumption based on lap times too - easy to adjust and works very nicely.
There's still lot to explore, plus the extra features to purchase (or not). But I can already see this is a big step both functionally and aesthetically.
The next step is to set SmartRace up for our ARC Air analogue format. We currently use the Scalextric app for that.
