Sorry for the delay... But the results from the Viking SCC round are in:
Event 1
Bangers Ferrari a worthy winner as it was blisteringly fast around here. Graham's 2nd place Pantera was a joy to drive, and third could have gone either way between Brumos and LeManx with very little between them; but ultimately and off cost Brumos the final podium step

Event 2
Some last minute work on the Wolf Dallara to free up its rear axle saw it make the start line in the end

Event 4
Brumos rightfully takes the win with his Ferrari. On the day it was much easier to drive than my Porsche (which was proving troublesome on the limit). Frustratingly, looking at the underside of my Porsche it would seem that I'm missing a Tungsten weight from the motor pod. Nothing seems to be rattling around in there so I can only assume I've somehow made a cock-up when swapping some bits around when I was getting it to spec (don't suppose you weighed to cars on arrival did you Graham). Savage GT finishes out the podium with his rapid Aston.

Good Morning,
Many thanks to Ade and the other members of the Viking SCC Club which participated in running the Round 7 of the proxy. Looking forward to the videos.
And yes I do have a record of the cars weight on arrival, so if you would like to re-weigh the Porsche I should be able to tell you if the weight has changed.
My thoughts today are also with Brian (CMOTD) Conington Park who is struggling with his health, and therefore unable to run the next round for us. I am sure I speak for everyone involved in these proxy's and in the wider context of SlotRacer online in hoping that you make a full recovery in the near future. Best wishes mate.
AdeC has been able to secure the participation of nearby Culverstone Raceway (wood club track) with Colin Spark of RS Slot Racing (
www.rsslotracing.com)
So I am very greatfull to Ade & Colin for stepping in to run Round 8 for us.
Culverstone Raceway
Race Schedule update
I will set about updating the Scoreboard and then the Pitlane Review later today

Seem to have left 2 cars results off the list (ie Batmanx Porsche 911 & Scott Sports BMW Z4) ?

AdeC, thank you for taking her time and organizing this round of the proxy and for getting the most out of the Brumos RSR team of cars. It’s greatly appreciated. Congratulations to all winners in their class and event as well as those who are on the podium.

Nice one Colin.
Are you on this forum by any chance?
He's just recently finished a GT Sports Proxy of his own on this track but for Scaley cars with spec motors...I like that idea!
He's also run an Edwardian Racers Proxy on it too with George Turner Edwardian Racers cars.
