Maybe it's just that the Cheetah is stunning in any colour?

Red ones are a bit more rare around these parts.

I also have a beautiful dark blue Carrera Cheetah that might make an excellent book-end. Or maybe a boat anchor for a canoe? It broke the scale.

Not quite a car ....

But a set I had way back in 69 and it was ridiculously cheap = so just had to - you know

It never worked that well back in the day - but this complete and in reasonable condition - so who cares if it does not work great - brings back great memories

I meant to include this earlier.
It's a bit awkward to get the chassis on and off (to remove magnet), it's a bit "tippy" and the tyres would be more at home on a landrover - but it's great. It looks good and is really fun to drive

   

I just got one of these too.  Great looking little car and I'm a big Golf fan so had to have it.  Agree that the Chassis is a bit awkward to put back together (mainly because of the light boards). But it's got some potential for a little Scalextric car.
