Maybe it's just that the Cheetah is stunning in any colour?
Red ones are a bit more rare around these parts.
I also have a beautiful dark blue Carrera Cheetah that might make an excellent book-end. Or maybe a boat anchor for a canoe? It broke the scale.

I just got one of these too. Great looking little car and I'm a big Golf fan so had to have it. Agree that the Chassis is a bit awkward to put back together (mainly because of the light boards). But it's got some potential for a little Scalextric car.
