Autumn 2024 Builds
#1

Porsche 904 V4.2 Is ready and will test against V2.3 and maybe one or 2 more will be tested. The Imp V2.1, Ferrari 250 GTO and 904 V3.1 are ineligible as they are sidewinders.  The 904 received an 18k motor, guide, interior and 7.5mm rear tires today. It’s 14 grams lighter than V2.3 so we will see how the shootout goes At the end of the month.

Funnily enough I was testing my 904GTS last week prior to our Targa Florio night.
These are narrow cars, 48mm wide and may hinder it's competitiveness.
...it does go nicely though...one more to consider

Life is like a box of Slot cars... Cool Drinkingcheers

I do not have a track set up so I get 1 hour when I go out of town for work to test my potential slot cars for the year to proxy race or they’re built by guessing.  I gotta work hard to attempt to cat SirSavageGT!

It works for the GT Proxy, not the Autumn Proxy.
Thunderslot is eligible for the GT Proxy, as well as this, which I’m considering as my 2nd car.

Thunderslots are permitted, but must meet the minimum track clearance of 1.5mm.

Well one car I will be entering is this Fly based Ferrari GTO which had some running in the 2022 International Proxy in the USA and was to be entered last year for the 2023 IP which was unfortunately cancelled. So it is already to run and fitted with a 18k rpm Pioneer in line motor.
So that's my entry for the Kinrara Event for closed top GT cars.

Still pondering the 2nd car I will enter, probably be a Whitsun Trophy prototype, off the shelf I have GT40, GT MKII or a Ferrari to choose from but also thinking if I get the time to have a go with a something else.
