Nice positive article but the Scalextric Bugatti is normally priced around £3000 not the £5000 mentioned and the Mansell/Senna set never fetches anything like £500 on eBay as claimed. If it did mine would have been sold long ago! Rofl

MotorSport magazine also recommended a large Scalextric set as a suitable present in their Christmas guide. Mind you, the cynic in me also noticed the full page Scalextric advert in the same magazine - couldn't be related by any chance?

The same thought crossed my mind, Motor Sport and Autocar being bedfellows! MS has been giving away/plugging Scalextric lately as competition prizes and bribes for signing up to subscription deals.
