Hi Guys,
I am back home again from the UK Slot Car Festival.
I hope you were able to make it to Gaydon to do a few laps on Slot Rally Hill.
On Saturday the track was in operation almost continuously. On Sunday it was a bit quieter.
The track functioned without any glitches all weekend. The same can be said of the three SRC cars used during the event.
Many asked me how I had transported the three-piece track.
There were two pieces placed on a wooden trolley and another one was positioned on the floor of the minivan, between the legs of that trolley.
Here are two photos about this:
At home I opened the cars and found a lot of scenic stuff, like grass fibers and grit from the model train shop, on top of the bottom plates and on the gears.
I was surprised that they did so well.
