Just a reminder that I had proposed a wager of a £5 PSR voucher for the nearest guess of the Event Winners, Class Winners and Team winners of the proxy.

In general seems to have fell on deft ears, but I do have just two participants, so looks like a 50/50 chance at the moment for those 2  Sun
If anyone else wants to try their luck, please let me know but you only have to Saturday morning to formally let me know.

However the Technical info update might help.
see amended list

We do have a couple of car changes since last time I posted the list, and there is a question mark regarding penalties in Event 3 for the Mclaren GTR of BARacer and now the Marcos of Scott Sports.....the replacement car from ALS is yet to arrive and I have not received an up to date Registration form of details for that car.

The existing two participants of the wager can change their submission up until Saturday Morning, and you can can also vote for your own cars if you think your cars will sweep the others under the carpet  Talking

Err, we don’t have joint winners, only one can win an event. If 2 cars end up with the same amount of points the one with the fastest laps across all 10 rounds will be the winner.

Also there are the Class A,B & C winners to guess, and of course the Best 2 Car Team award ?

Think of this as an elaborate raffle, you don’t stand a chance of getting everything right, but the more guesses you put into your submission the better chance of having the winning ticket  Bigsmile

@ Brumos, A wager on my cars isn't wise  Tease

I think my M1 is going to be fairly disadvantaged on plastic, and my history of making Scalextric cars go well with stock chassis isn't great !
I am personally expecting to be mid field at best this time around, with some luck and a fair wind there might be an occasional lower step podium appearance  Sun

I will throw some predictions into the mix:

Event 1: LeManx

Event 2: Roadrunners

Event 3: BA Racer

Event 4:  ill go for Brumos RSR although I expect Brumos and Courtney will be neck and neck.

Class A: BatManx

Class B: Scott Sports

Class C: Brumos RSR

Best team: Scott Sports

But I do think Makem Movers Wolf Dallara could be a good shout too.

I wondered why my Ford GT was being given the thumbs up, sorry folks my mistake, it is actually the Slot it Ford GT40 with NSR motor in, not a NSR Ford GT MKII as I originally posted on the Technical list.

So here is the Technical data list again if you want to change your expectations  Bigsmile

I have also included the Motor magnetic traction measurement I have made on all the cars which might influence your decisions but I don't believe that this has an overwhelming advantage generally compared to other car set up within the permitted range I specify in the eligible motor list.

Since we have a few more entries for the "Wager" I have posted them below.
If there are changes to be made before Saturday deadline let me know.

OXO Cube and Savage... thank you for the support!

I hope the Mclaren is as fast as it looks. No refunds provided if Graham does his worst!

Bigsmile
