Slot car shows are a handy thing for vintage finds.

A few $5 grab-bags yielded all this stuff. Much of it will be garbage. But there's a few gold nuggets in between the junk. 56 pancake armatures in total.

I saw this somewhat rare gold Model Motoring GTO with a vibrator chassis under it. The gentlemen wanted big money for the car because of the pre-1963 chassis. So I bought the body off the chassis. There's always a way. It looks and runs better with a Dash chassis anyways.

Made a flying visit to the UK last week to meet our grandson (what A PALAVER to get accross but that is another story). So in the time leading wup to it I sent a few purchases to her place to save on all the nonsense this side when you get parcels from the UK. I went a bit mad.   Rofl

I got really good prices, but still was a bit mad ....

The 1/24ths are the first time ever I have had them, and the same for the go=karts, Before \I try them out some tyre casting is needed as they are all pretty shot at the moment.

Cool looking finds, Anthony. The details on the GP cars are very nice.

Someone in our model building club asked "Does anyone build slot cars from static models?".

These 4-kits from the mid sixties are pristine. Two are still in the skin-wrap. The wrap looks like vintage cellophane. That's exactly what we want to see. I'm very excited about these.
