Have Policar gone mad?

Seems I am in the minority on this but I am old enough to remember a time when Motorsport magazines did not show pictures of serious or fatal crashes. No longer the case of course and we can now watch drivers die on live TV with pictures of fatal crashes on the front cover of Autosport but that doesn't make it OK as far as I am concerned.

Of course there have always been slot cars with drivers who later died in action but this is the first time I have ever seen one specifically modelled on the actual car/race they lost their lives in and I find it tasteless and creepy in the extreme. I have the SRC twin pack of the legendary Villeneuve/Arnoux 1979 Dijon battle and that is how I choose to remember Gilles, not in a ghoulish recreation of his final moments. Why not go the whole hog and release the March car driven by Jochen Mass on that fateful day so people can duplicate the complete accident for their dubious enjoyment?
