An unusual turbo CanAm car, with insufficient brakes (per the designer).

Ohhhh Chappy - I have one of those

Currently on my bench-   at the recent Bordo meeting _ I vowed to myself not to buy anything - well that didnt last although I did swop a lot of stuff.

These 2 bodies were originally made by the Late Derek Cooperf or Bordo meetings in early 2000's. Joel Thura bought them when he sold them off. and Joel had some nice stuff for sale and swop. Just had to have these. Puttering with chassis and general fittment at the moment. Their interiors are simple but superb with great driver painting.

It looks like the brass chassis need some pan control arms....or is there something that I cannot see?

As it's red, I feel it necessary to ask if that chassis was actually meant for the body. Unless it's the camera angle, it looks way too short. I can't imagine Derek doing a car like that.

As Ferraris go, I like the SWB, especially as it's blue Tease

Derek had the habit of recycling his chassis - so no that is not one of his.

Actually the chassis fits perfectly - it was constructed in the 60' s and I am re-cycling it - same with the GTO - need to construct sidepans for it.

They both need work setting up and fettling and then making them look pretty Bigsmile Bigsmile

Busy playing with the idea of using my only pair of original Russkit wire wheels  - a holy grail for some - but not sure that they look 'right' especially with the spinners

PS you can see the chassis fits ;)
