Auto World have just released these images of their Victory 400 Stock Car set, scheduled for release in the autumn...
The set uses the large 36-foot, four-lane layout with wireless controllers and adjustable 9-24 volt power supply. It would make a greater starter set for a local racing group...
Here's another image of the layout...
The cars are listed as a '76 Torino (#96), a '73 Chevelle (#50) and '71 Charger (#67) and Roadrunner (#3)...
These are set-only liveries.
I guess everyone's waiting for a price... but this could blow AFX out of the water the autumn and Christmas.

Back to just two lanes, but this looks another tasty set from Auto World...
Scheduled for a 'late summer' release, this is a fabulous Japanese street racing-themed set, complete with some great cardboard scenics to create that midnight Isewangan Expressway vibe...
The two cars are the newly-tooled 240Z and a tuned-up 1995 Toyota Supra...
These bodies are on the X-Traction Ultra-G pancake chassis, which has always been a favourite of mine...
Certainly another imaginative set to encourage new people into the hobby.
